Annual Cedar Polka Festival

The 2017 Cedar Polka Fest (<-LOUD MUSIC WARNING!) will be held this weekend – Thursday, June 22 – Sunday, June 25, 2016. Highlights include a parade on Saturday, softball tournament, a polka mass and (of course) polka under the big, big tent with the big names of polka.

Thursday, July 22, 2017
The annual Cedar Polka Festival begins with the flag raising ceremony at 5:00 p.m. Music and dancing begins immediately after the ceremony and runs till 11 PM with Box On Family Polka Band and Broad Brothers County Music.

Friday, June 23, 2017
Music and dancing 5 pm – midnight featuring Box On Family Polka Band, New Brass Express Polka Band, and the New Generation Polka Band.

Saturday, June 24, 2017
Polka Fest Parade begins at 4 PM at the Solon Twp. Hall. Music and dancing from New Brass Express Polka Band, New Generation Polka Band, and The Diddlestyx Polka Band begins at 5 pm and runs until midnight.

Sunday, June 25, 2017
Polka Mass celebrated with Father Ken Stachnik at 11 am under the tent followed by the traditional Polish Procession of Our Lady of Czestochwa immediately after the mass. Music and dancing from Diddle Styx from 1 pm and continues until 5 pm.
