2018 Leelanau 4th of July Calendar
Through a variety of sources including the Leelanau Chamber, Glen Arbor Sun and MichiganFireworks.com, we’ve come up with our Leelanau Fourth of July event listings.
4th of July in Glen Arbor
- July 3: Manitou Music Festival: Northport Community Band (7-8 PM) playing patriotic music on the Old Schoolhouse Lawn in downtown Glen Arbor.
- July 4: Flag raising ceremony at 10 AM at Old Settlers Park
- July 4: Glen Arbor parade, line up at 11 AM, Parade starts at noon
- July 4: Glen Lake Boat Parade, 4 PM at the Glen Lake Yacht Club, Big Glen Lake (open to all who want to participate)
4th of July in Leland
- July 3: Patriotic Songs at the Village Green at 8 PM
- July 3: at dark Leland Fireworks at Hancock Field
- July 4: Leland parade at 3 PM on July 4th plus decorate your bike 1-3pm at the Old Art Building lawn (decorations supplied) and enjoy music from Jazz North with Glenn Wolff. Stick around for the Grand Traverse Pipes & Drums Corp Concert after the parade on the Village Green
4th of July in Northport
- July 3-9: Tours of the Schooner Perception in Northport Marina
- July 4: Northport Fireworks July 4th (dusk) on the Bay
That is a beautiful ceremony. There was a beautiful arrangement done by the
Handyman. The handyman are really very hardworking and can do a lot of works.
Glen Arbor was featured on our We Are Up North website this week for the recommend up north getaway. We are also running a photo hunt for the first person to send in a photo of themselves paddle boarding on the crystal river. The photo hunt winner gets a $25 gift certificate to the Western Ave Grill! Have a great Fourth!

The Northport Community band will be playing in the marina park in Northport from 7 – 9 on Saturday, July 4th.
