Leelanau Almanac: Week of April 15 – 21

This is the time of year that many start thinking of starting a garden. If you are a first-time gardner or a a Master Gardner, the MSUE has something for you. They started their “Green Garden” series on Wednesday, with the session Starting a Home Food Garden from Scratch. Other fun events happening in Northport over the next two weeks are the annual Scott Brow Fishing Derby on Saturday and the Smelt Supper, next Saturday.
