Leelanau Conservancy Wildflower Rescue Sale coming Memorial Weekend
The Leelanau Conservancy invites you to their annual Wildflower Rescue Sale on Friday, May 24th and Saturday, May 25th.
This annual sale in Leland benefits Conservancy projects & takes place at the Leland Village Green from 9am – 4pm Friday and 9am until they sell out on Saturday. All proceeds help maintain and beautify the Village Green as well as assist with other Conservancy projects.
They will have trillium (which you normally cannot legally transplant), jack-in-the-pulpit, native fern species and many other native plant species for sale.
The Wildflower Rescue Committee is always looking for flowers to rescue. If you own property and have upcoming construction, please contact us to rescue the native plants. If you would like to join this wonderful group to rescue native wildflowers, please contact their Events and Volunteer Coordinator Lindy Kellogg for more info: lkellogg@leelanauconservancy.org.
