This Week in Leelanau: July 22, 2010
Here’s this week’s Email Newsletter!
I think we just passed the halfway mark on Summer 2010. Does anyone see the lever to slow it down? Also, we won’t be posting much content next week or sending a newsletter because of the item below… On Location at the Traverse City Film FestivalAll next week we’ll be on location at the Traverse City Film Festival. The festival takes place Tuesday, July 27th through Sunday, August 1st. Check their site for remaining tickets and also the times of free panels and free movies on the BIG screen at the Open Space that anyone can enjoy. Absolute Michigan & Leelanau.com sponsor the festival and manage the online media so we may have a little biased, but we have to say that this is one of the coolest weeks we get a chance to be a part of. In 2010, we’re going to be working with a great group of folks including the University of Michigan Film School to produce daily online video – stay tuned! Speaking of video, click over to Leelanau.com for a great video from last year’s festival! From the Glen Arbor Sun…Thanks to the Glen Arbor Sun we found this great video from the Leelanau Conservancy and their Why Leelanau Blog.
