Village Cheese Shanty opens for summer May 21st!

One of the most beloved signs of spring is the annual re-opening of the Village Cheese Shanty in Fishtown. That normally happens in April, but due to a massive construction project that lifted the Shanty on a new foundation and of course the coronavirus pandemic, that was delayed. Good news – they open tomorrow for the summer! On their Facebook they write:

We missed you!! ??? Come hell or high water (pun intended), we are going to OPEN THIS THURSDAY, May 21st ??? Give us a call @ 231-256-9141 to place your order! ❤️As much as we would love to give you a hug or a high five, we won’t be able to have customers inside the shanty…. at least not yet. So, sammies orders can be picked up at our front window (you’ll see ?). From the entire staff at the village cheese shanty, we love you, we hope you’re safe, and we can’t wait to see you! And stop touching your face!

Now… who’s getting cheese shop this Thursday?!
