1st annual Traverse City Microbrew & Music Festival – This Saturday!

The 1st annual Traverse City Microbrew & Music Festival takes place this Saturday (Aug 29) in Traverse City in the historic trees and front lawn of the Village at Grand Traverse Commons.

The festival will feature beer from great Michigan breweries including Arbor, Arcadia, Bell’s, Dark Horse, Founders, Jolly Pumpkin, Keweenaw, Michigan Brewing, New Holland, North Peak, Right Brain, Sergeants, Shorts and Tri-City. Also in attendance will be national breweries like Magic Hat, Red Hook and Sierra Nevada.

In addition to the great beer, there will be music from Buckwheat Zydeco, Clumsy Lovers, Caravan Of Thieves, Mike Moran + Levi Britton and others along with great grub, workshops and other associated fun including the Cherry Roubaix, a criterium bike race through the streets of Traverse City that starts at 12:30.
