A Conversation with Chef & Author Abra Berens ~ May 13th
The Leland Township Library invites you to join them on Saturday May 13 for a fundraising event and conversation with beloved chef and author Abra Berens and three of the fruit growers who make Leelanau County a one-of-a-kind place.
As a passionate supporter of public libraries and of farmers across Michigan, Abra will get personal with Leelanau County’s own Gene Garthe, Nikki Rothwell, and Pete Laing who all appear in her latest book, Pulp: A Practical Guide to Cooking with Fruit.
This is a way to lend your support to the Leland Township Library, enjoy an engaging night out as a community, and learn more about preparing the wonderful bounty of fruit that surrounds us!
All tickets include a signed copy of Abra Berens’ book Pulp & there’s a limited number of VIP tickets available for a wine & cheese tasting with Chef Berens. You can purchase and get all the details at the Leland Library.
