Marina Rainbow by Cindi John

Cindi John of Treaty Fish Company shared this awesome shot of a rainbow over Arthur Duhamel Marina in Peshawbestown. Cindi & her husband Ed have operated this  family-owned and operated commercial fishery since 1989. You can pick up their fish at Sara Hardy Farm Market  in TC or at the fishery. Visit their Facebook page for details & phone number!

While we’re here, the Great Lakes Fisheries Heritage Trail shares that Arthur Duhamel Marina is the home port for many of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewas Indian’s tribal fishing families. From here, they access tribal fishing grounds on West Grand Traverse Bay.

The marina is owned and operated by the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, and visitors can view fish tugs at the dock and visit the fish processing facility where fresh fish and smoke fish can be purchased when available. The entry to the marina is the first road north of the junction of M-22 and Putnam Road and is the same turnoff as Suttons Bay Township’s Graham Greene Park.
