News from the Week

The top story for the week was volleyball (where Leland was bounced in regionals and Suttons Bay in bowed out in the quarterfinals) and basketball (where Leland fell in regionals). Get all the details! Other stories included a Leelanau Tourism Collaborative update (sort of) and the slightly self-serving but still cool news that the Leelanau.com designed Schoolship.org was selected as the latest Great Lakes Site of the Month.
The Week’s Weather

We had a nice and springlike week of weather. Until this morning of course. Most of the shanties are off the lakes, but ice boaters seem to be holding out for one last weekend now that the ice is clear! It’s looking like North Lake Leelanau will offer some spectacular ice boating this week.
