Leelanau County Tops State in Wine & Cider Production
mLive reports that with 2,218,220 liters, Leelanau County leads the state in the production of wine & cider. The top producers among Leelanau’s 32 wineries & cideries are Leelanau Wine Cellars (way out in front with 1,295,678 liters), L Mawby Vineyards (186,401 liters) and Tandem Ciders (148,545 liters). You can also add Black Star Farms on Leelanau & Old Mission with 238,484 liters.
