The Ragbirds in concert at Suttons Bay
The Ragbirds and their creative, eclectic, folk & roots music will kick off the winter concert series for the Friends of Fine Arts at Suttons Bay Schools on Friday, January 23 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are$12 for adults and $5 for students, sold at the door only at 7:00 pm.
The Ragbirds are led by the energetic and fiery front woman and songwriter Erin Zindle who skillfully switches between violin, mandolin, banjo, accordion, and percussion, in addition to singing lead vocals. The Ragbirds musical roots are firmly embedded in the soil of rhythm, ancient and new, incorporating Americana, Gypsy, Celtic, and Latin influences with drums from all over the world designed to get people both listening and up and dancing!
The next concert brings in Breathe Owl Breathe for a Valentine’s Day concert with chocolates & coffee at the Old Art Building in Leland. The final concert will feature Claudia Schmidt’s Swing Band on April 17 at Suttons Bay. All proceeds benefit Suttons Bay Schools Educational Advancement Fund. For more information call 231-271-4983.
