This week’s photo is Dune Star Trails by ShaneWyatt who writes that he took it the other night at Sleeping Bear Point using a 17+ minute exposure at iso 800. He used his LED headlamp to “paint” the trees and dunes in the foreground.

It’s 25 degrees under cloudy skies at 8:20 AM at Leelanau Coffee Roasting in Glen Arbor. The record high for a December 3 was 64 in 1962 with the low of 0 set in 1976.
