Voluntary program will allow recycling from Kasson, Solon, Cleveland and Bingham

The Leelanau Enterprise reports that, at the urging of supervisors from Kasson, Solon, Cleveland and Bingham townships, the county board voted to create a voluntary payment program for those who want to recycle in townships that voted down the recycling measure. Residents in the four townships where the per-household fee was defeated would have the option of purchasing a recycling sticker from the county for $30.
