12th Annual Fiber Festival – Oct 5-6

The Leelanau Community Cultural Center is sponsoring its twelfth annual Fiber Festival on Friday, October 5 from 5 to 8 pm and Saturday, October 6 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Old Art Building in Leland. Artists with original fiber art will exhibit and sell their work in mediums of wearable art, textiles, batiks, weaving, art quilts, fiber sculpture, knits and yarns. Admission is free.

Linda Kustra is an award winning fiber artist specializing in wearable art. Her fashions have been exhibited in juried art shows throughout Michigan since the summer of 1999. She has received many awards for best of show in fiber media.
