2026 Empire Asparagus Festival: A day of Peace, Music & Food
The annual Empire Asparagus Festival returns in less than a month on Saturday, June 6, 2026. have opportunities to enjoy food from Arts Tavern, Pleva’s Meats, Shipwreck Cafe, Birria Taco Truck, Red Top Gourmet Hot Dogs, Squeeze ‘Em Lemonade Shack, Norconk’s Asparagus, and Lively Neighborhood Market.
Drink Vendors include Right Brain Brewery, Lake Ann Brewery, and St. Ambrose Cellars.
Add in Live Music by Zinnia Dungjen, Andre Villoch, 5th Gear Band and you have one heck of a day!
FULL SCHEDULE
- 10am: Kick-yer- Assparagus 5km Fun Run Walk
- 11am – 3pm: Glen Lake Community Library Pop Up Book Sale
- Noon: Recipe Contest in the Township Hall, Front St., Empire
- Noon to 6pm: Asparagus Eats with food vendors, local breweries & live music
- 1 – 4 pm: Empire Area Museum Open
- 2pm: Ode to Asparagus Poetry Contest, Glen Lake Community Library
- 2 – 4pm: Asparagus Queen on Stilts
- 3 – 4pm: The Magic Lady Family Magic Show
