News from the Week

News from the week was basically events except for Suttons Bay’s soccer run. The Norsemen had a great regional opener, crushing Big Rapids, but they fell 1-0 to #3 Muskegon Catholic Central. Congratulations on a great season!

The Week’s Weather

Fall Color is at peak to passing peak!Fall Color Report (Oct 29): We are past peak around the county and the wind is shaking the trees down for loose leaves. There is still some great color out there though – check it out this weekend!

The weeke’s weather was cool and pretty windy and featured our first snowfall. I’m guessing it won’t be the last!

October 23, 2008: Sunny & 50s (55/22) Record low!
October 24, 2008: Light rain & 40s (50/42)
October 25, 2008: Partly sunny, scattered showers & 50s (53/44)
October 26, 2008: Cloudy, windy with strong evening rain (51/41)
October 27, 2008: Cloudy, really windy with rain & some sleet (43/35)
October 28, 2008: Cloudy, breezy, light rain & 40 (41/36) half the record high of 80 from 1927
October 29, 2008: Mostly cloudy, light rain/flurries & 40 (43/26)
