Leelanau & Traverse City Fourth of July Calendar (updated Jun 30, 2025)
Are you ready for the Fourth of July?? Here’s our list of Leelanau’s 2025 Fourth of July celebrations. Definitely let us know anything we’re missing!!
- The village of Leland kicks off the Fourth of July fun with fireworks at 9:30pm THURSDAY NIGHT at Hancock Field.
- At 10 AM on Friday, July 4th, they will raise the flag at Glen Arbor’s Old Settlers Park with a community sing of patriotic songs and featured speaker Gene Kelly, an author & decorated Army veteran.
- George Anderson Walk & Run for Cancer in Northport benefits cancer research in partnership with the Leelanau County Cancer Foundation.
- The Glen Arbor Fourth of July Parade (pictured above) kicks off at noon with every bit of small town fun you’re looking for! The Grand Marshall in 2025 is Ed Ricker whose Cadillac carried years of parade Grand Marshalls for many years. Following his unexpected passing, Glen Arbor will honor his memory as 2025 parade Grand Marshall.
- I’m waiting for word on whether or not the annual 4th of July Glen Lake Boat Parade is on. If you know let me know! If it is happening, you just show up at 3 pm in front of Glen Lake Yacht Club and head towards the Narrows!!
- The Leland Fourth of July Parade rolls out at 3 PM on July 4th. Pre-parade fun includes kids bike decorating & face painting. If you want to do both Glen Arbor & Leland, follow the floats north on M-22 after the Glen Arbor parade!!
- When your day wraps up, bring your lawn chairs to the Marina at Bay Front of Haserot Park in Northport for fireworks on July 4th at 10pm & enjoy!
- In Traverse City, the National Cherry Festival is running all week. On Friday night you can check out the fireworks over Grand Traverse Bay and/or come back on Saturday, July 5th for the Festival Finale fireworks.
