Leelanau County Poor Farm Concert Series
The Leelanau County Poor Farm Preservation Society in association with the Leelanau Historical Society & Museum, Row-by-Row, and the Empire Area Community Center invite you to join friends old & new in supporting the rehabilitation and public use of the old Leelanau County Poor Farm Barn at their Summer Picnic Concerts.
Admission is free and all concerts run 5-7:30pm the next three Wednesday evenings:
- July 30 – Country & Folk with Rita Hosking & Sean Feder and Andre Villoch
- August 6 – Classic Rock & New Wave with Go North!
- August 13 – Orchestral & Big Band with The Brass Quintet and TC Sings! – A capella Singers
Poor Farm Barn is located just east of Maple Valley Nursing Home at 1100 W Burdivkville Rd, Maple City. The Empire Area Community Center’s Emergency Fund will be on-hand to accept donations that help people in need throughout our region!
