May 19th means asparagus in Leelanau!
Mark shared this delicious looking basket yesterday, writing “Our asparagus is the best! Now, if I could only find some morels to go with them.”
Indeed!! Also, in a coincidence that’s probably most interesting to me, I shared a one of Mark’s asparagus pictures that was also taken on May 19th way back in 2017 to promote the Empire Asparagus Festival (will be Saturday, June 6 2026)!
