On Michigan in Pictures we took a look upwards at the 2010 Perseid Meteor Showers. Star Trails, the Perseid Meteor Shower and the Tears of St. Lawrence from last year tells the story of one of the best meteor shows of the year. At its peak, the Perseids produce a meteor a minute – that is TONIGHT and the weather should be perfect!
Absolute Michigan went event crazy, featuring the Kalamazoo Water Festival (Aug 14), the Great Lakes Folk Festival (Aug 13-15) and the Traverse City Wine & Art Festival (Aug 21). |
