Northport Fall Festival this Saturday!

The Northport Chamber of Commerce invites you to visit them this Saturday, October 16th for the annual Northport Fall Festival including horse drawn rides.

Spend the day in the village enjoying the autumn colors, great shopping and crisp fall air. Have lunch in town or end the day with a meal at one of their fine restaurants. (I had the tuna salad sandwich at the Eat Spot on Saturday – YUMMY!) Also, never miss a chance for a visit to the Kilcherman’s Christmas Cove Farm for some cider and antique apples!

Don’t forget the Northport Promise Chicken Dinner on Sunday from noon to 3 PM at Northport Public School. It will be prepared by Rev. Marshall Collins and his wife Mary with the assistance of Northport Promise volunteers. Guests will enjoy a traditional Southern style dinner of deep fried chicken, green beans, potato salad, candied yams, rolls and butter and sweet potato pie. Cost is $15 for adults, $7.50 for children age 5-12. Children under five are free, and take out is available!
