Fishtown 5k returns July 15th

mLive shares that the annual Fishtown 5k is returning to Leland on July 15th:

The 15th annual running of this race will offer lots of Up North eye candy. Runners not only follow a route that weaves through the picturesque neighborhoods of Leland, but they’ll get views of both Lake Leelanau and Lake Michigan. Not a runner? Not a problem. The event is also open to walkers, people pushing strollers and people walking their leashed dogs.

…This year’s race will be held on Saturday, July 15 at 9 a.m.

Participants will receive a Fishtown 5K logo tee (T-shirt cutoff is June 16, 2023), a Fishtown 5K logo sticker, a commemorative race bib, a chance to win early-registration prizes, and a chance to win race medals unique to Fishtown. Special medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age category. Overall female and male winners will receive a unique Fishtown 5K award.
