News from the Week

The top story from the week was a Leelanau Enterprise report that Suttons Bay and Northport can’t act fast enough to cope with “structural” issues and are willing to commit to explore more radical collaborative efforts, such as consolidation. There’s a lot more. Not much else in the way of news, but we did have a nice photo and some information about the Glen Lake Canning Co and an NPR radio feature that visited Leelanau County.

The Week’s Weather

With the exception of Saturday, the last week has been great with lots of sun and temps in the mid to upper 70s. The nights have been getting into the 50s and the lakes, while still very nice for swimming, are cooling off a bit.
