Leelanau Cherry Blossoms Ready to POP!

As you can see from this photo taken Wednesday just down the hill from St. Wenceslaus in northern Leelanau County, sweet cherry blossoms are almost ready to burst. It’s possible that some of the warmer orchards will begin to bloom this weekend, and at this point we’re pretty confident to predict sweet cherry orchards in full bloom from next weekend through the following weekend with tart cherries blooming a week or so later!
