The annual Leland Wine & Food Festival takes place (as always) on the second Saturday in June. That’s June 11, 2016 from 1-8 PM.
Enjoy a day in the Leland Harbor and Leland’s historic Fishtown tasting wines from local wineries and tasting the specialties from local restaurants and vendors. There’s also live music from the Ben Daniels Band, Blind Dog Hank and Sierra Cassiday in the park all day and of course plenty of beautiful views of Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands.
Admission is $15 in advance or $20 at the door and includes an etched wine glass and two tokens for wine tasting. Additional tokens are available and age 10-21 or non-drinkers are $10, with under 10 is free. Tickets are available at gate, Two Fish Gallery and The Riverside Inn in Leland or online. Advance tickets get you in “the fast line” so you might want to purchase now.
