Happy May Day everyone! Mark took this last year on May 1st and writes:
This is Houdek Creek, at the easternmost edge of the ever shifting Houdek Dunes. To the left, sand, to the right, swamp, and in between the prettiest little stream you ever did see. But don’t you all go down there.. I tiptoed carefully and left no mark for this shot. If you look closely, near the top left you will see the observation deck, a great place to sit and watch the water, which a person is doing. Houdek Dunes Natural Area has a wonderfully diverse range of scenery, and great trails along ridges. Unfortunately no maypoles or dancing were involved in this shot.
