Talks about Art with local artists in Glen Arbor
Talk About Art, a series of free talks featuring local artists talking about how they create art begins next Thursday (January 29) at 7:30 p.m. at the Glen Arbor Art Association.
The series begins with quiltmaker Sarah Bearup-Neal of Empire who will talk about “Postmodern Piecework” at the Glen Arbor Art Association on Thursday, January 29, 7:30 p.m.
Other talks in the series include Marion DeVinney of Synchronicity Gallery on collecting art (Feb 12), Bob Purvis on sculpture ((March 12), Kristin Hurlin on illustration (April 2), Fred Ely on basketry (April 23) and Tim Lewis on illustration (May, TBD)
