The Brief but Thrilling Saga of Empire’s Sugar Bear
The Glen Arbor Sun shared this video of a VERY persistent bear that made off with a 50-pound bag of sugar & also apparently has a taste for chicken. Grocer’s Daughter co-owner Jody Hayden related “He could have ravaged the chocolate shop, he could have gotten five gallons of honey, but he didn’t. He only got the bulk bag of sugar.”
According to the Sun, the bear has been trapped & relocated 60 miles away.
