A Hundred Bucks of Gas comes to Leelanau
NPR has a nice feature on the recent vacation by a couple radio producers who came to Leelanau County to celebrate their anniversary. They visit the Sleeping Bear Dunes, Jolli Lodge, the Bluebird and do some kayaking on Lake Michigan.

Hi, I am wondering if this fire photo was taken the time there was an event inviting people to come out and have a fire / picnic whatever you wanted. The wood was provided for us and there were quite a few people there. I would love to have the story on this event.. if it was in the paper. I live in Traverse and my dau / dau-in-law and grandkids and I attended this event and loved it. I just cannot recall what it was being called. It was in the fall I believe as it was cool when the sun went down. Can you help with this? thanks Brenda (must have been about 6 yrs or so ago)
