Help 5Loaves2Fish continue to deliver big change!

5 Loaves 2 Fish invites you to their 2nd annual “Big Change Equals Big Change” fundraiser at Main Street Gallery in Leland on Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 6pm.

Attendees will be treated to music by Geno and the Big Change Band; hotdogs and brats (featuring authentic Detroit Coney Sauce) courtesy of Franklin’s Wiener Wagon; fresh and inventive salads, Janiecake’s cupcakes, complimentary beer & wine, and the signature Big Change cocktail for $5.

Last year’s event raised $9,000 and enabled 5 Loaves 2 Fish to buy a convection oven, commercial refrigerator and cooler along with a portable buffet table. This year the nonprofit hope to raise even more as their need for food continues to grow. They served 45 meals a week when 5Loaves2Fish was founded in 2020. Today the need has grown to 350 meals each week.

5Loaves2FishNMI is an outreach group that promotes social justice by providing nourishing meals, infused with love, to those experiencing food insecurity and homelessness. The feed people. Many hands prepare each meal. Every week volunteers come together to create, with love, delicious meals intended to nourish not only bodies, but hopefully a few souls as well. They believe giving good food is the ultimate gift of love and love spreading love.
