Top Stories from the Week

The big news was of course Tuesday’s elections. Leelanau voters said yes to the 911/operations millage but no to the Farmland Preservation proposal. In election-related news, you’ll want to check out last week’s area student mock election (a very cool event). Other stories included a grab-bag style feature on the Wrecks of the Edmund Fitzgerald (with excellent video!) and the wreck of the Francisco Morazan & other Michigan shipwrecks.
