Leelanau tourism group announces January meeting schedule

In November, a gathering was held to gauge interest of gallery, lodging, retail and other business owners, community and nonprofit organizations and individuals in working together to promote tourism on the Leelanau Peninsula. The next step is a series of community meetings (beginning next week!) to brainstorm and gather input from each of the primary communities on the Leelanau Peninsula. Each session will begin with a brief overview of research findings followed by a brainstorming session about the concerns and assets of each group of communities.
