News from the Week
News from the week included the launch of our Leelanau Cherry Blossom Report (they’re looking amazing!), a link to a massive Sleeping Bear Dunes travel feature that we produced on Absolute Michigan, Saturday educational walks in the Lakeshore for May (frogs, beavers, wildflowers & birds!), an article on this weekend’s Empire Asparagus Festival and a feature on the 2008 Tour de Leelanau.
The Week’s Weather
The week’s weather was (like much of 2008) a throwback. Temps in the 40s, 50s & 60s (instead of the now normal 70s to low 80s) and a nice amount of rain. Blossoms are in great shape.
