Leelanau County & Traverse City Michigan Webcams

We just added another webcam to the list today, so we’re dusting off our tour of Leelanau County’s web cams. Check the links below for views of Empire, Leland, Glen Arbor, Lake Leelanau, Old Mission, Frankfort, and Traverse City – all from the comfort of your chair!

• DeJager Networks Consulting operates two webcams with pictures that refresh every minute from  Narnia Cottage on the south shore of Little Glen Lake with a view of the Sleeping Bear Dunes, a hill overlooking Big Glen Lake. facing (I believe) north, and overlooking the Glen Haven Cannery & Sleeping Bear Bay from Sleeping Bear Inn.
• The Cove Webcam in Leland’s Fishtown is also available on YouTube.
• The Dick’s Pour House webcam will help you keep an eye on downtown Lake Leelanau too (or at least their deck)!
• The Empire Beach webcam is operated by the Empire Chamber. Check it out at Sleeping Bear Surf & Kayak.
• The Chateau Chantal webcam on the Old Mission Peninsula will give you the view of Leelanau’s eastern coast from across Grand Traverse Bay.
• The Downtown Traverse City webcam has a live look from Keen on Cass & Front where you can see the Christmas Tree. Also a great place to see seagulls and of course tourists ;)
• The Great Lakes Maritime Academy webcam offers a view of the State of Michigan, the Academy’s training ship when it’s there and West Grand Traverse Bay at all times. As a bonus, you can control the camera!
• The Grand Traverse Yacht Club’s webcam looks out at the mooring field for sailboats on West Bay.
• The Crystal Mountain webcams will let you check out the slope or the golf course!
• Gaze over Betsie Bay at Lake Michigan with the Harbor Lights webcam in Frankfort
