Leelanau & Traverse City can partially re-open Friday

Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed an Executive Order allowing for the reopening this Friday (May 22nd) of retail businesses, office work that cannot be done remotely, and restaurants and bars with limited seating in Region 6, which includes Leelanau & Traverse City.

Sugar Loaf Brownfield Application Accepted

The Leelanau Ticker reports that the Leelanau County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority (LCBRA) on Tuesday unanimously accepted Part I of the brownfield application from Sweet Bread LLC, a special purpose entity formed to redevelop Sugar Loaf.

Leelanau County Board Meetings Coming to Video

Meetings of the Leelanau County Board of Commissioners will be video-recorded beginning this summer. Equipment has been ordered and will be installed this summer to allow recordings.
